Sonos Port support in the Poconos
The Sonos Port connects a stereo receiver, external amplifier, or turntable to a Sonos system. It is the current replacement for the Sonos Connect, and the usual answer when an older Connect is holding a system back on the S1 app. It also lets a Sonos system drive a larger amplifier for big outdoor or theater zones.

- A turntable or receiver that is not on the Sonos system yet.
Your options
What we would do about it.
Cost. A four-zone Sonos system with in-ceiling speakers typically runs $6,000 to $15,000 installed. A single deck or dock zone starts around $2,400. More on Whole-Home Audio
Port or Amp?
A Port feeds an amplifier or receiver you already have. An Amp is the amplifier, and drives speakers directly. If the receiver exists only to power ceiling speakers, an Amp usually replaces both.
