Will outdoor speakers survive the winter?
The right ones will. We use all-weather and marine-grade drivers rated for the freeze-thaw cycle and leave them out year-round. Indoor speakers on a covered porch are what fail.
Can you run audio and lighting to the dock?
Yes, and it is one of our most requested jobs. It takes direct-burial cable in conduit and fixtures rated for the shoreline, plus attention to where the frost line and the water table sit.
Do landscape lights need a timer I have to reset?
No. Everything runs on an astronomic timeclock that computes sunset for your latitude every day, so it self-adjusts through the year and through the time change.
