Lutron Caséta in Hawley
Caséta is what we put in most cabins and rental properties here, because it does not depend on the house having good internet and it survives a renter. The bridge talks to the switches over Lutron's own radio, so a dropped Wi-Fi connection never means dark rooms.
Historic borough and in-town housing
In an older in-town home, Caséta is the least invasive way to get real dimming and schedules. The dimmers fit existing boxes, the Pico remotes mount with a magnet or two screws rather than a new wall box, and nothing about the install is permanent enough to worry a preservation-minded owner. For a house with plaster and original trim, that matters more than the feature list.
Local conditions
What this looks like in Hawley.
The housing here
Older borough housing with plaster, balloon framing, and knob-and-tube remnants, alongside modern lake construction. Retrofit work here rewards experience and punishes assumptions.
Connectivity
The borough has reasonable service; the surrounding hills fall off quickly. Properties a few minutes out of town frequently need a different plan than the ones in it.
Why owners here buy it
A real mix of year-round residents and second-home owners, so the ask splits between everyday comfort — lighting, audio, good Wi-Fi — and away-from-home protection.

Questions
Caséta questions from Hawley homeowners
Something not covered here? Call (267) 719-3598 and ask.
Do you install lutron caséta in Hawley?
Yes. Hawley is part of our regular service area and we work throughout Wayne County, including Hawley Borough, Tafton, Woodloch area. We are based in Pocono Pines, so this is work we do ourselves rather than subcontract.
How many switches can Caséta handle?
Seventy-five devices on a Smart Bridge PRO, but the practical ceiling is lower. Past about 20 lighting loads you want RadioRA 3 instead, mostly for the keypads and the better scene handling.
Will it work with Alexa, Google, and HomeKit?
All three, plus Ring, Ecobee, and Sonos. The PRO bridge adds Control4, Crestron, and Josh.ai integration if you ever go that direction.
