Home Theater & Media Rooms in Clarks Summit

A-frames and great rooms with cathedral ceilings are everywhere in the Poconos, and they are genuinely difficult rooms for sound — hard surfaces, tall volumes, and a fireplace usually sitting exactly where the center channel wants to go. These rooms reward a real design and punish a guessed one.

Year-round residential

This is where dedicated theaters actually get built and used. A full room with risers, treatment, projection, and one button that dims the lights and starts the movie. It is the most designed thing we do, and it rewards getting seating distance, speaker placement, and calibration right rather than buying bigger components.

Local conditions

What this looks like in Clarks Summit.

The housing here

Larger single-family homes on substantial lots, with a strong custom-build presence. New construction is common enough that pre-wire work is a regular part of what we do here.

Connectivity

Well served, with fiber available in much of the area. Bandwidth is rarely the constraint; in-house distribution is.

Why owners here buy it

Primary residences where the driver is design and daily experience. This is where dedicated theaters, engraved keypads, and whole-home shade packages get specified.

Questions

Theater questions from Clarks Summit homeowners

Something not covered here? Call (267) 719-3598 and ask.

Do you install home theater & media rooms in Clarks Summit?

Yes. Clarks Summit is part of our regular service area and we work throughout Lackawanna County, including Clarks Summit Borough, Waverly, South Abington. We are based in Pocono Pines, so this is work we do ourselves rather than subcontract.

Projector or a big TV?

A TV for any room with daylight — the picture is brighter and the ceiling in a lake house is rarely where a projector wants to be. Projection wins in a dedicated, light-controlled room at about 110 inches and up.

Can you mount a TV over the fireplace?

Sometimes. Above a working fireplace we measure mantel heat first, and we will tell you when the viewing angle is going to hurt your neck. A pull-down mount solves both problems when the wall is the only option.
